Promotions Producer / Acting Manager

Also worked shifts with the Avid team coaching the NLE editors (on Avid express) and editing titles and VTs for the first shows (on Avid Adrenalin).

Promotions Producer Showreel

Mainly responsible for the production of video promotions for the station and it's programs. Sometimes worked for the stations advertising clients. Also contributed to the look of the station and its' in-house productions.

  • Researching video and directing shoots
  • Online digital editing , animation and compositing.

 Senior Video Editor

I joined ANN as they started and helped to build them from scratch.

As an AP , I edited VT's for the news department. I then edited and packaged weekly current affairs programs , as well as cinema and music shows. Directed and edited the sound dubbing of several series from English to Arabic. Worked on many documentaries e.g. Kosovo Afghanistan and Lebanon.

Later as the company expanded its operations I was promoted to Senior Video Editor responsible for the post production and packaging of all programs on two NLE's and a three machine. During this period I edited several series and trained junior staff members. As a team we got all the work done, reliably and creatively.

Developed a web site for the Group. A large site it involved a lot of photographic and technical content and some animation.
